This is an open invitation to all who are looking for new employment to join us at The New Hope employment Ministry.
We meet on the first and third Thursday evenings of each month at 7 PM in the New Hope Presbyterian Church. Doors will be open at 6:30 PM. Meetings last about two hours.
Our objective is to provide emotional and spiritual help for the unemployed, while supporting and guiding your job search. The first half of our meeting is focused on a specific topic related to your job search. This is where we help you to find answers for problems you have encountered. The second half of the meeting is where each member of the group has an opportunity to describe his or her situation. This is where members help each other cope with the problems they have encountered. Meetings open and close with a prayer.
Then, we take the information you have provided us and get our congregation involved. Job leads they provide are given to the members of our Ministry based on the job interests they have expressed.
New Hope Presbyterian Church is located at 1580 Kisker Road. This is a short section of Kisker Road between Highway 94 and Central School Road.
